The "Glacier Express" is Switzerland's leading international tourist train that everyone envisions.
Through the European Alps in southwestern Switzerland, from Zermatt to St. Moritz, straddle two railway companies, the Rhaetian Railway and the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway, and slowly drive through the magnificent Alps train window for eight hours. It is gaining popularity as a panoramic sightseeing train to enjoy.
The passenger car EW I (Einzelwagen I) is used in the local trains on Albula and Arosa lines of RhB registered in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The passenger car was manufactured in about 10 years one after another and owned mostly by the RhB. It is a beautiful passenger car painted in bright red which shines against the background of pure white snow fields as well as lush green meadows in the Alps. It is widely in use connected with panoramic passenger cars of Bernina Express or Glacier Express.

Kato's rendition of the RhB EW-1 (Einheitswagen) is superb, accurate livery, very free running , despite the fact that they re set up for track fed internal lighting.
These coaches can be observed on a daily basis using the RhB.ch official website using rhb/livestream which utilises webcam images from the RhB control rooms! (Warning it can be time consuming though!!)

Run smooth and great level of detail for the size. A bit fiddley to connect but sturdy connection once joined together. Will be looking to add internal lights in the near future
