Seven coach add on pack for the Series 165 "Sado" Unit (10-1488).

N-scale model of “Sado” which symbolizes the heydays of Series 165 Express trains. Express “Sado” started the service as an express train connecting Ueno and Niigata in 1963 by Series 165 Electric train. It was famous as a superior train starting from Ueno station. It was operated in 13 car consist including two 1st class (so-called green) cars. Either half-buffet coach SAHASHI 165 or SAHA 164 coach with a shop was put in the train consist. Many people had used the express until it was discontinued due to the extension of high speed Joetsu Shinkansen to Ueno in 1985.
