Kato has commercialized the EF65 2000 national railway color, which is currently active in towing freight trains.

Of the EF65 1000s inherited from JNR to JR Freight, the original number was changed to +1000 to distinguish it from the 1000s belonging to the passenger company according to the Ministerial Ordinance of 2012 (2012) The group is in the 2000s. In recent years, it has become a topic that JNR color was applied at the time of general inspection.
We can see activity in wide area of ​​metropolitan area Tokaido, Sanyo, Shikoku district.

Main features

• The machine (Snowplow equipped car) belonging to JR Freight Shin-Tsurumi engine district as of the end of 2020 (2018) is a prototype.
• We accurately reproduce the distinctive JNR color found in all detection vehicles in recent years.
• We reproduce figure that duct for cold air system attached to assistant's seat side window and figure that light shielding film was enforced to driver's side window with glass of smoke gray.
• The roof is reproduced with black paint around the monitor and around the fan cover, and gray paint around the pantograph and the top of the runboard.
• We adopt PS22 pantograph and reproduce roof top detail and elaborate body precisely.
• Smooth traveling is realized with a flywheel power unit. Container-carried freight wagons 10 to 20 can be towed.
• H rubber of each part is reproduced in black.
• Headlights on. We adopt bulb color LED.
• Arnold coupler standard equipment. Replacement knuckle coupler included.
