Kato have announced the production of this trolley-shaped, panoramic passenger coach that is characterised by its bright yellow colour. These coaches are mainly operated in conjunction with the Bernina Express.
The coaches are coupled to the rear of the train and passengers can board them without additional charge or reservation.
The model features a prototype manufactured in 1990 and car B2097 has been selected from the series of B2096-B2102. A short coupler is used for the Glacier Express. An Arnold coupler is included for replacement if required.

Superb model of a quirky prototype. I've knocked one start off only because you need to add you own passengers. Having said that they can often be seen in sidings or on transfer runs without passengers. Despite the 'official' mention of them being mainly used on the Bernina Railway, they are fairly often seen on the Chur - St Moritz line
